January Chronicles 2011
Enoch shared his 4th birthday Dinosaur Party with a new little buddy who has the same birthday! Dinosaurs are a major theme around here right now. The kids even had a visit from Dr. Scott, the paleontologist, on Dinosaur Train (PBS show) at their school...and of course Buddy. We got to talk with him personally after the gym had cleared out and he told us some cool places to find dino remains in Utah. He really is a paleontologist!
We did the best we could between really cold weather and a really pregnant mom to get out and explore our new area. We made it far enough for a fun family sledding trip up the canyon one Saturday.
My favorite thing about our move, so far, is the view. I take it in every day starting at the breakfast table, then while we wait for the bus, then again when the sun sets in the west and turns the Wasatch Mts. into a glowing red.
That's How We Roll
5 1/2 miles of sheer adrenaline
no blood, no tears, and definitely no sweat in the freezing weather!
